Lexington, KY (SportsNetwork.com) - Isaiah McKenzie returned the games opening kickoff for a touchdown and scored on a punt return as the 17th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs blasted the Kentucky Wildcats 63-31 on Saturday. Hutson Mason threw a career-high four touchdown passes despite not playing one snap in the fourth quarter for Georgia (7-2, 5-2 SEC), which rebounded from last weeks 38-20 loss to Florida. Mason was 13-of-16 for 174 yards, and Nick Chubb rushed for 170 yards and a touchdown in the bounce-back win. Patrick Towles totaled 139 yards with a touchdown pass and ran for another score for the Wildcats (5-5, 2-5), who suffered their fourth straight loss. Towles completed 16-of-31 passes with one interception and added 60 yards on the ground. The Bulldogs got off to a great start in all three phases. McKenzie began the game by sprinting 90 yards to the end zone, the Georgia defense forced a three-and-out and Chris Conley caught a 15-yard touchdown pass to cap the first drive. After another brief Kentucky possession, Chubb scored on an 18-yard run with 4:57 left in the first quarter. The Wildcats battled back and outscored the Bulldogs 24-14 in the second quarter. Braylon Heard ran for a 3-yard touchdown and Austin MacGinnis kicked a 38- yard field goal after Georgia fumbled a short kick. Stanley Williams quickly answered Masons 23-yard touchdown pass off play action to Malcolm Mitchell with a 56-yard TD run. The Bulldogs went up 35-17 when Conley hauled in a 4-yard pass from Mason on a fade route, but two defensive penalties on the next Kentucky drive led to Towles scoring on a quarterback sneak with 16 seconds remaining before halftime. However, things fell apart for Kentucky in the third quarter. Towles was picked off by Corey Moore on the first play from scrimmage. The Bulldogs capitalized on the miscue as four Chubb runs preceded Jeb Blazevichs 10-yard touchdown grab. After a three-and-out by the Wildcats, McKenzie returned a punt 59 yards for a touchdown. Sony Michel scored on a 23-yard run later in the third, and Brice Ramsey threw an eight-yard touchdown pass to Blazevich in the fourth. Towles connected with Javess Blue for a nine-yard touchdown with 3:22 to play. Game Notes Georgia has won five straight games against Kentucky and each of the last four meetings in Lexington ... Indiana enters the contest having won its last four games against Big Ten opposition, including a 69-66 victory over then-No. 22 ranked Ohio State earlier this month. Indiana is 5-1 in conference play this season, and is 2-1 away from home. Ohio State has won two of its last three games, and four of its last six overall. But since starting conference play, the Buckeyes have dropped three contests and have fallen from the Top-25. At home though, they have been nearly unbeatable at 13-1 this season. This will be the 186th all-time meeting between Indiana and Ohio State. The Hoosiers lead the series, 105-80, and took the three-point decision over the Buckeyes in their last matchup just over two weeks ago. Indiana took on Maryland in its last outing Thursday night, as the Hoosiers asserted their dominance against one of the newest additions to the Big Ten with an 89-70 victory. Yogi Ferrell scored 24 points to lead the team, adding in five assists. James Blackmon Jr. added 22 points with five rebounds, Troy Williams finished with 16 points and seven boards, and Collin Hartman rounded out the teams double-digit scorers in the win with 15 points. Indiana finished the game shooting a scorching 60 percent from the field. Indianas offense ranks first in the Big Ten, as the Hoosiers nett 81.dddddddddddd9 ppg on 48.3 percent shooting from the floor. Blackmon leads Indiana into Sundays matchup owning a team-best 16.9 ppg mark, while Ferrell (15.4 ppg) and Williams (13.5 ppg) round out a trio of double-digit scorers this season for the Hoosiers. Ferrell leads Indiana and is fourth in the conference averaging 5.0 apg, and Williams tops Indianas squad with a 6.2 rpg mark. The Hoosiers ideally need to lower their scoring defense, which surrenders 71.3 ppg to opponents. Ohio State, led by DAngelo Russell, torched the nets in the teams last outing against Northwestern - a 69-67 victory over the Wildcats. Russell rounded out a solid stat line of 33 points, seven rebounds and six assists in his teams victory. The freshman connected on 6-of-11 shooting from 3-point range as well. Sam Thompson chipped in with 11 points in the win for the Buckeyes, who shot 52.8 percent from the floor, including a 9-of-19 mark from beyond the arc. Russells stellar freshman campaign continues for the Buckeyes, who are second behind Indiana in the Big Ten in terms of scoring at 79.9 ppg. Russell is second in individual scoring in the conference with 19.3 ppg, also adding in a team best in rebounding (5.2 rpg) with 98 assists - second to Shannon Scotts 138 helpers. Marc Loving adds in 11.3 ppg for the Buckeyes, and Thompson contributes 10.3 ppg.
